STORYLINE

In a village in the Korean countryside of Jeolla province, an almost 100-year-old woman has just died.

For three days, her relatives and the villagers gather to accompany the deceased according to traditional customs and rites. Everyone tries their best to play the role that their family or social position demands in such circumstances, except for her old dog who doesn't seem to understand the reasons for this sudden turmoil.
