Sardinha em Lata is a Portuguese animation film production company founded in 2007 in Lisbon.

With a permanent, multidisciplinary team, it develops and produces projects in various formats, ranging from short and feature-length films to series and commercials.

Short films are at the heart of our visual and narrative experimentation, earning us accolades at international festivals, including a Goya Award for “The Monkey.”

 

At the same time, the studio has been building a portfolio of larger-scale projects, such as "My Grandfather's Demons" (the first Portuguese stop-motion feature film), the series "Alice's Diary" (a co-production with RTP, RTVE, and Disney Junior), and its participation in the multi-award-winning "Decorado".
