SINOPSE 

"Kibwe" is a narrative centered on Lili's life and her mission to save her grandmother, who has been poisoned. Throughout this journey, Lili uncovers stories from her past while unravelling the mysteries of her tribe and family, known for their traditional healing practices.

Matilde, Lili's grandmother, prepares to return to Maputo. During this preparation, she visits the local bakery for some bread, unaware that she is being followed. At a certain point, she is poisoned by Khari, the antagonist of the story. Khari's intention is to weaken Matilde's abilities as a great healer in order to gain possession of a precious journal that contains instructions to access their secret settlement deep within the Songo Mountains in Tete province, Mozambique.

Upon investigation, Lili and her friends discover they have only 24 hours to find the cure, which coincidentally is also sought by Khari to save himself from a century-old curse passed down from his ancestor. Ultimately, all parties involved realize they share more in common than they initially thought.
